Margie
CASA Volunteer
Margie lives in Dorchester and has been a CASA volunteer for eight years. She came to Boston CASA after her retirement as a public health administrator because she believed that making a difference in the life of one child was the best way for her to give back. She currently works on a case involving an adolescent boy and has loved getting to know him, supporting him, and advocating for him in a variety of ways. Margie says: “One of the best parts of being a CASA volunteer is being in a community of amazing people – volunteers and staff – who are passionate about what they are doing to help vulnerable and needy children. I encourage others to explore the possibility of joining this wonderful organization!” (Margie is pictured here with her grandson.)
