Welcome to the Boston Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) inaugural golf outing. The golf outing aims to raise funds to support the organization’s advocacy work for the best interest of foster children and youth who experience abuse and neglect in Suffolk and Middlesex Counties.

Since 1982, Boston CASA volunteers have made a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children. CASAs are judge appointed, and they provide the highest quality, comprehensive advocacy for children and families. CASAs are the one person in the courtroom entirely focused on what is in the best interest of that child, lifting their voice and championing what’s in their best interest without compromise. As a result, judges have observed that children assigned a CASA spend less time in the foster care system and have better chances of finding permanent homes than non-CASA children.

Boston CASA has nearly 200 volunteers and serves more than 300 children. In FY22, CASAs donated over 15,000 hours and delivered more than $750,000 of advocacy services. The positive impact of a CASA in a child’s life is enormous, yet we can currently only serve 15% of the children and youth who are court involved in Suffolk and Middlesex counties. Your donation will help Boston CASA reach its goal for every foster child to have a CASA to ensure they have a safe and permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.

Please join us in making this year’s outing a success.
