Amy has been a CASA since 2023. I came to CASA with a background as a corporate attorney. I’d always hoped to utilize my familiarity with the legal system in a positive, impactful way. I’m also the mother of two teenagers. I’ve volunteered extensively with youth-centered organizations in my own community, and was looking for a way to extend my service to volunteer with underserved children in need. Through Boston CASA, I’ve had the opportunity to promote the best interests of youth who have experienced abuse and neglect and find themselves thrust into the foster care system. Making sure their needs are met and voice is heard, while also developing a close one-on-one relationship, has been incredibly rewarding.
