Kristin has been a CASA for 1 year

“I became a CASA because the role seemed like it would allow me to really make a meaningful impact in a young person’s life.  I am amazed at the network of organizations and people, including non-profits for families and youths, family members, guidance counselors and teachers, therapists and social workers, and especially Boston CASA staff members and fellow CASA, who all step forward to help you make change (and opportunity) happen. My reasons for being a CASA have expanded far beyond what they started out as. Today I see how a caring and consistent person, along with a like-minded collection of people and organizations, can turn the tides for a child or family. I am so honored to be a CASA, to work with such an amazing network of people, and to have the opportunity to help and make change for my youth. “
