After retiring from working in the field of Special Education in 2016, I searched for volunteer opportunities and am so grateful that I found CASA. Over the past ten years, I have been a CASA for 3 amazingingly resilient youths who have all impacted my life in many unexpected ways. I can only hope that my relationship with each one of them has provided them with the ability to trust others and to move forward in their lives with increased confidence.
