CASA Volunteer
Sarah graduated from Tufts University with her MA in Child Development in 2016 and became a CASA volunteer shortly after. When she was a teenager, two of her siblings joined her family through international adoption, so she decided to focus her child development studies on family preservation, foster care, and adoption, from domestic and international perspectives. She now works at the Education Development Center supporting international development projects, primarily US government-funded education initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa. Her driving belief in life is that all children have the right to a caring family and all parents should be supported and empowered to parent their children. She is grateful to be able to volunteer for an organization like CASA that shares these goals!
