Charly Snellings
Director of Community Engagement & Volunteer Services
Charly Snellings has been passionate about working with and serving others throughout his career. After graduating from Roger Williams University with a degree in education, he served two years as an AmeriCorps member at City Year Washington, D.C. where he developed an interest in mentoring youth and working with volunteers. Later, as a Program Manager and then Program Director at City Year, Charly managed and supported volunteers and staff to provide the best service for students. Working as a partner in public schools helped Charly realize that all children deserve a network of supportive adults. After moving back to Massachusetts, he worked in the development office of a local nonprofit while also earning a Master’s degree in Leadership and Nonprofit Management at Northeastern University. Charly was drawn to Boston CASA’s mission and the important work that they do for children. He believes that the work that the CASA volunteers do is vital and is excited to play a part in their experience.
