The Boston CASA program recruits, trains and supervises volunteers from the community who are then appointed as a child’s Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) by the juvenile court. The focus of these volunteers is to protect and promote the “best interests” of children who have been abused or neglected and who are court involved. The Boston CASA program is designed to ensure that the needs of children in foster care are met and to aid the court in making the difficult decisions that will impact the lives of these children and their families forever. You can learn more about our organization and the work of our volunteers on our website.
