Boston CASA is thrilled to highlight Aurora (Rori) Cremer as September’s CASA of the month. Rori joined CASA eight months ago and has been working with a 14 year old youth for six months. Rori has done an exceptional job of creating a healthy relationship with her youth, specifically diving into the interests of the youth to learn more meaningful ways to connect. Aurora has also taken the time to understand the youth’s mental health diagnosis from the youth’s perspective and helped the youth engage in professional therapeutic services.
Rori has made a special connection with her youth over their shared passion for movies, stand up comics, and music. Rori researched and found that her youth’s favorite band was coming to Boston and helped secure tickets for them to attend their dream concert this summer! Additionally, Rori’s supervisor has heard from the case’s DCF worker, Judge and attorney about what a fantastic job Rori is doing. They all report Rori has made a strong connection with her youth and writes thorough and detailed reports to keep everyone informed. Boston CASA is beyond thankful to have Rori as a dedicated CASA for both our program and her youth.
